Bronze Sculpture – Reclining Cat, signed Milo

A masterful Art Déco bronze sculpture of a reclining cat with a beautiful green-brown patina — the softly modelled, slightly stylised forms capture the repose and suppleness of the animal with great confidence. The cat lies relaxed on a rectangular black marble base, its gaze turned slightly sideways into the distance. Big cats and house cats as bronze sculpture are a leitmotif of Art Déco sculpture.
