Silver-Plated Champagne Bucket – Pedestal Base

A large, elegant champagne bucket in silver-plated metal with a sweeping urn form, flared circular pedestal base and two arched handles with small ball terminals. The classically monumental form recalls antique wine coolers and was reinterpreted in Art Déco with clean lines and slender proportions. Such silver-plated metal coolers were made for both private use and for the luxury hotels and ocean liners of the 1920s and 1930s.
