WMF Ikora, Silver-Plated Warmer with Glass Insert

This cylindrical warmer combines a hammered silver-metal lid and a fluted base with a glass insert—a sophisticated combination characteristic of the refined table culture of the Art Deco period. The recessed metal support feet and the precisely crafted rim of the lid demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship. This piece was produced by the Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF) in the 1920s.
