Large Wrought Iron Mirror, Green Patina

This imposing mirror has a frame made of green-patinated wrought iron with rich ornamentation. Garlands, stepped cornices, tassels, and a beaded border at the bottom point to a decorative synthesis of Egyptian and neoclassical motifs, as was common in Art Deco of the late 1920s.
