A three-tone Art Deco chest of drawers with a curved front and three drawers, veneered with exotic burl wood (thuja) and accented with black high-gloss lacquer on the base and sides. The black marble top and round brass handles emphasize the piece's luxurious character. Chests of drawers like this were made in France and Germany in the 1930s for prestigious bedrooms and gentlemen's studies.
