An elegant, large silver-plated champagne cooler on a pedestal base, featuring a carrying handle. The front bears the original "Richard Weise Betriebe" company emblem, a reference to Berlin’s rich gastronomic heritage. The cooler originated with the Richard Weise company, which operated the famous "In den Zelten" restaurant pavilion in Berlin’s Tiergarten park. For decades, the restaurant was one of Berlin’s renowned excursion venues and a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Historical postcards document its designation as "Restaurant Zelt 1 – Direktion Richard Weise" (Restaurant Pavilion 1 – Richard Weise Management). The pavilions hosted a program of variety shows and concerts. During World War II, all the pavilions were destroyed by bombing and never rebuilt. The cooler was manufactured by the Bormann company of Frankfurt, a maker of high-quality hotel and restaurant ware. The company operated from 1881 to 1930.
